How to Get to the Karlsruhe University of Education

By Train

Karlsruhe is easy to reach by train as it is the junction of the ICE-line Hamburg - Frankfurt - Basel and the east-west connection Karlsruhe - Stuttgart - Munich. You can find more information about the exact arrival and departure times from the Deutsche Bahn AG.

Take tram no. 2 (in the direction of Wolfartsweier), tram no. 4 (Waldstadt) or the 6 (Daxlanden or Rappenwört) from the tram stop in front of the main train station to the stop Europaplatz; from there it is a five minute walk to the North.

By Car

From the northwest (Cologne) on the A61 (west of the Rhine) to Ludwigshafen change to the A6 at the Hockenheim interchange (Dreieck) in the direction of Nürnberg. At the Walldorfer interchange (Kreuz) change to the A5 in the direction of Karlsruhe.

From the north (Frankfurt) in the direction of Karlsruhe and Basel on the A5.

From the east (Stuttgart) take the A8 to the Karlsruhe interchange (Dreieck), then onto the A5 in the direction of Frankfurt.

From the south Basel) take the A5 in the direction of Karlsruhe and Frankfurt.

From the west (Saarbrücken) take the A6 to the Frankenthal interchange (Kreuz), the A61 in the direction of Ludwigshafen, at the Hockenheim interchange change to the A6 in the direction of Nürnberg and at the Walldorf interchange (Kreuz) to the A5 to Karlsruhe.
