The university's website uses session and temporary cookies.
Cookies are small text files placed on a website visitor's computer, which identify it to our server. If you contact us via email, the Karlsruhe University of Education will only use your data to contact you. Other uses are excluded.
Rights of the user: information, correction and deletion
As a user, you will receive, at your request, free information about which personal data has been stored about you. If your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (eg data retention), you are entitled to correct incorrect data and to block or delete your personal data.
The university's website uses the open source web analytics service "Matomo". The cookies used by "Matomo" allow an analysis of the use of the website. The IP address of the visitor is anonymized before being stored on the server. Personal evaluations are excluded. "Matomo" is installed on a server of the university
If you do not agree with the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit, you can object to the storage and use of the following at any time with a mouse click. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, with the result that "Matomo" does not collect any session data. Caution: If you delete your cookies, this will result in the opt-out cookie being deleted as well and possibly re-activated by you.
